About Lara

I am voice teacher, and professional mezzo-soprano, based in the Detroit, Michigan area. As a teacher, I work with all voice types, and can help students take their singing to the next level, leaving them with new tools after each lesson. I believe that we are all on a journey as singers and musicians, and that we should work hard, allow ourselves to feel successful as we do, and to have fun! I am blessed to perform nationally (and Internationally) with many different ensembles and companies, including Grammy-winning ensemble Conspirare, and Grammy-Nominated ensemble True Concord Voices and Orchestra, as well as quartet Alium Spiritum, and Detroit-based chamber ensemble, Audivi. I can be seen and heard regularly throughout the Detroit area as soloist and professional ensemble singer. I love what I do, and I’m so glad to be a part of a wonderful and dynamic community of colleagues and students.
